ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADMISSION FOR MASTER’S PROGRAM, SECOND INTAKE, 2023

THE FOREIGN TRADE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES THE ADMISSION FOR THE MASTER’S PROGRAM, SECOND INTAKE, 2023, AS FOLLOWS:

1. GUIDELINES FOR THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The submission of applications for the master’s program is a two-step process:

Step 1: Online Application

– Applicants should access the website: http://tuyensinhsdh.ftu.edu.vn/, and choose the appropriate application form based on their admission method:

(i)  Form 1: For applicants applying for admission through an interview.

(ii) Form 2: For applicants applying for direct admission.

–After entering the required information, applicants should generate the Cover Sheet (Form MA01) and the Application Form for Admission/Direct Admission (Form MA02) with complete information, reformat the printout, attach a photo to the Admission Form, and affix the necessary stamps as per regulations.

2. Submission of Documents (Hard Copy):

1. The document set includes: The applicant should prepare one document set organized in the following order:

2. Form MA01 affixed on the outside of the document envelope.
3. One (01) Application Form for Admission/Direct Admission (Form MA02) with confirmation from the current workplace or the local People’s Committee at the place of residence.
4. One (01) notarized copy of the following documents:

      – Bachelor’s degree and transcript.

      – Bachelor’s degree or language proficiency certificate or examination results confirmation (accompanied by the original language proficiency certificate for reference).

• Other diplomas or certificates (if any).

5. One (01) notarized copy of the supplementary knowledge acquisition certificate (if applicable).
6. Three (03) color photos, size 3×4 cm (clearly stating the applicant’s full name and date of birth on the back)
7. Certification from the Department for Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, for bachelor’s degrees granted by foreign universities (not required for degrees falling under the “Agreement on the Recognition of Equivalence in Higher Education Degrees”).

Note regarding the applicant’s master’s degree:

For applicants holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees awarded by foreign universities or bachelor’s degrees from joint programs between Vietnamese universities and foreign universities, a document recognizing the degree from the Department for Quality Management – Ministry of Education and Training is required before applying. Except for cases where the degree was granted by a foreign educational institution for students enrolled in joint training programs with foreign universities in Vietnam, which have been officially approved from the effective date of the Law amending and supplementing some articles of the Higher Education Law (Law No. 34/2018/QH14 dated November 19, 2018).

8. Notarized copies of employment decisions or labor contracts to verify work experience (mandatory for EMBA program applicants).
9. Notarized copies of documents to verify priority status (ID card, household registration book, confirmation from the competent authority).

III. APPLICATION SUBMISSION, ADMISSION PROCEDURES, INTERVIEW-BASED ADMISSION, AND RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT TIMELINE

– Application submission period: From the effective date of the admission announcement until November 6, 2023. Morning hours: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM, afternoon hours: 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as prescribed).

–Admission procedure and interview-based admission schedule:

+ Admission procedure date (estimated): November 24, 2023.

+ Interview-based admission date (estimated): 7:30 AM, Saturday, November 25, 2023.

–Result announcement date (estimated): December 2023.

1. V. For Applicants WITHOUT LANGUAGE CERTIFICATES as stipulated:

Applicants who do not possess language certificates or qualifications as required above must register to participate in the foreign language proficiency assessment (English) conducted by the Foreign Trade University. Specific information regarding these assessment exams will be announced on the Department of Graduate Studies’ s website: http://sdh.ftu.edu.vn.

Please note: The results of the language proficiency assessment will be used to evaluate eligibility for enrollment in the Master’s program and will not result in the issuance of a certificate.
