MEETING BETWEEN THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS AND WORLDQUANT VIETNAM

On April 8, 2024, at the office of WorldQuant Vietnam in Hanoi, the leadership of the Faculty of International Economics met with WorldQuant Vietnam to discuss upcoming cooperation activities.

On behalf of WorldQuant Vietnam, the meeting was attended by Mr. Bui Crispin Duy Chanh, General Director; Mr. Ngo Duc Duy, Deputy General Director; Ms. Pham Phuong Anh, Head of Strategy and Operations; and Mr. Tran Minh Hieu, Researcher.

Representing the Faculty of International Economics were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh, Dean of the Faculty; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuong Anh, Vice Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Luong Thi Ngoc Oanh, Vice Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Binh, Head of the Department of Research Methodology and Economic Forecasting; and Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Mai, Head of the International Cooperation Department.

During the meeting, the leadership of the Faculty of International Economics presented a congratulatory bouquet to WorldQuant Vietnam on the occasion of the opening of their new office in Hanoi. Additionally, Mr. Bui Crispin Duy Chanh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh reaffirmed the successful cooperation between the two parties in the past and highlighted some priorities for future collaboration, such as student support activities, co-teaching internships, field trips, and project-based learning. Both sides will continue to coordinate the organization of FTU-scale and international-scale IQC competitions, as well as sports and cultural activities between the two units to enhance interaction and cooperation in the coming period, especially in 2024, which marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of International Economics.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh expressed his gratitude to the leadership of WorldQuant Vietnam for accompanying the Faculty of International Economics in student activities over the past time. The leaders of both sides affirmed their commitment to work together to promote cooperative activities in the near future.
