THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS AND NRS – RAIZA EXPRESS VIETNAM FORGE PARTNERSHIP IN TRAINING PROGRAMS

On August 1st, 2024, the Faculty of International Economics engaged in a productive work session with the leadership of NRS – Raiza Express Vietnam to discuss postgraduate training programs and short-term and long-term training initiatives falling under the faculty’s purview.

The esteemed members of the Faculty of International Economics present at the session included Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh, the Dean of the faculty, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuong Anh, the Vice Dean, as well as Dr. Ly Hoang Phu, the Head of the Department of Development Economics, and several other lecturers.

From NRS – Raiza Express Vietnam’s side, prominent representatives included Mr. Hoang Dinh Nam, the Executive Director, Ms. Le Thi Lan, the Head of Human Resources, and Ms. Do Thi Luong, the Head of Customs Services.

During the session, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh extended heartfelt congratulations to NRS – Raiza Express Vietnam for their remarkable achievements in pivotal national projects such as the Elevated Railway Project from Nhon to Hanoi Station and the transportation project for liquefied natural gas from the South to the North. He also emphasized that the Faculty is committed to constantly innovating and enhancing its training programs to cater to the diverse requirements of enterprises at large and NRS – Raiza Express Vietnam in particular. By offering comprehensive knowledge of international economics ranging from fundamental to advanced levels, the faculty’s programs aim to meet the varied needs of students.

Subsequently, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuong Anh provided detailed insights into the faculty’s postgraduate training programs, as well as the short-term and long-term training initiatives under their purview. This information allowed NRS – Raiza Express Vietnam to gain a multifaceted perspective on the Faculty’s postgraduate training program.

The comprehensive discussion between both parties encompassed opportunities for collaboration in short-term and long-term training, student internship activities, co-teaching, and inviting guest speakers. They expressed their mutual commitment to liaising with departments and offices in provinces, cities, and industrial parks to initiate specific activities promptly during the 2024 – 2025 academic year.

In conclusion, Mr. Hoang Dinh Nam – Executive Director of NRS – Raiza Express Vietnam expressed his belief that the Faculty’s postgraduate, short-term, and long-term training programs have grown increasingly comprehensive, adapting to market trends, and effectively addressing the evolving labour and industry needs.
