The Faculty of International Economics recently organized a fruitful Dialogue between the faculty members and students of the academic year 2023-2024. Held on May 9, 2024, the conference saw the presence of distinguished individuals, including Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh, the Dean of the Faculty of International Economics; Dr. Ly Hoang Phu, Head of the Department of Development Economics; and Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Binh, Head of the Department of Research Methods and Economic Forecasting. The event was well-attended by student representatives from the Faculty’s current cohorts.
In his opening address, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh underscored the significance of the annual Dialogue Conference as a platform for addressing students’ inquiries and understanding their aspirations. This engagement enables the Faculty to propose tailored solutions to enhance the quality of teaching and scientific research. Additionally, Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh highlighted several notable achievements of the Faculty, such as organizing panel discussions for students, hosting international symposia on various topics, including the Environment and World Economics, and offering opportunities like the IQC competition and Blockchain scholarships to enhance student learning experiences.
During the interactive session, students actively participated by raising queries related to the curriculum, teaching methodologies, administrative challenges, and future career prospects. The presiding committee, led by Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh, along with Dr. Ly Hoang Phu and Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Binh, addressed these inquiries, emphasizing the Faculty’s commitment to promptly resolving student concerns and enhancing the overall educational experience in compliance with university regulations.
